I have a wide range of interests including, but not limited to: computer science, film, and music. I am currently taking a short break from school after earning my master's degree in computer science, but plan on perusing my PhD in CS soon on my journey to become a professor. My main research interests are in CS education, CS in the arts and sciences, data science, and complex adaptive systems. Besides my academic pursuits I play music. I primarily play viola and have played in a number of musical pit orchestras and in WWU's symphony orchestra. I also bounce around other creative endeavors including film, music composition, and running TTRPGs. I love to exchange ideas and collaborate with others on projects.
